The One Day International (ODI) match between Nepal and Papua New Guinea has started in Oman.


Nepal, who are in Oman to play a triangular series under the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2, played their first ODI against Papua New Guinea before the series.

Nepal is fielding first after PNG won the toss and elected to bat at Al Amer Ground, Oman. Before reaching Oman to play World Cup League 2 series with Oman and USA, Nepal is going to play two ODIs with PNG in preparation.


Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel and Vikram Sow have made their debuts in ODIs. Asif has taken over wicketkeeping in his debut. Vinod Bhandari and Karan KC have not played.
