"The green snake within the party has bitten us, so we are in opposition."
Standing committee member Surendra Pandey, who left CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Madhav Nepal, appeared on the same platform on Tuesday.
Pandey had reached Oli while addressing a large gathering of party workers in Pokhara. Stating that there should be no immediate review of the recent infighting in the party, Pandey reiterated the 10-point agreement after Oli came to the forum.
Saying that the six-point proposal put forward by Madhav Nepal was agreed upon, he said, "Why not unite the party after maintaining the 10-point proposal?" We have told this to Madhavji many times. '
However, he said that Madhav Kumar Nepal was working hard to split the UML and register a new party.
After Pandey, Chairman Oli addressed the gathering. Criticizing Madhav Nepal, he also reviewed what was seen in the former CPN (Maoist) and the re-established UML.
Green snake
Oli has accused Madhav Nepal of leading the work of overthrowing the government and setting a trap for the CPN-UML after the attempt to capture the former CPN (Maoist) failed.
He said that when he asked for a vote of confidence in the parliament on April 10, Madhav Nepal went out with 27 MPs and toppled the government. He said that even after that, going to the President and the Supreme Court demanding to remove him from the government and make Deuba the Prime Minister was anarchy and anti-party.
Surendra Pandey and Ghanshyam Bhusal were among the 26 MPs who supported Deuba's claim to be the prime minister as per Article 76 (5) of the constitution and the 23 MPs from the Madhav Nepal faction who went to the Supreme Court to restore the parliament and appoint Deuba as the prime minister. Having been close to Madhav Nepal for a long time, they have become active in the UML based on an agreement to implement the 10-point agreement.
But UML president Oli called them green snakes. He had earlier said, "We were bitten by the green snakes within our party." So today we are not in government, we are in opposition. '
On April 27, I went to the vote of confidence. A vote of confidence would come, but Madhav Nepal went out with 27 of his own. He toppled the UML government and put it in the minority. Parliament ended. Now Madhav is walking to save the Nepal Parliament. No vote to save Parliament? In any case, the UML government was overthrown.
Our friends went to the President, hiding behind Sher Bahadur Deuba, hanging papers to get KP Oli removed from the government and appointed Sher Bahadur Deuba. He could not be appointed from there and after Sher Bahadur Deuba, let's remove KP Oli from the government again. Let's overthrow the UML government. The UML government has become reactionary.
Consider rotten persimmons as leaders!
Chairman Oli said that Madhav Kumar Nepal is now in the process of expelling UML. Stating that he had worked with the Maoists and the Congress in Karnali and the Far West to split the parliamentary party, and in Lumbini, he had tempted an MP to resign, he said.
He said earlier, "You were saying leader, but inside I was rotting like a beetle."
We sent him to go alone
Pandey, a member of the standing committee, not only urged the former leader of the Unified Socialist Party, Nepal, to return to the UML but also apologized.
Speaking after him, Chairman Oli said that UML would move forward without Madhav Nepal. He said that if Dhundhukari was born, the whole would be wiped out.
He said that the party would capture Madhav if the cadres sent him to go alone. Oli said earlier, "You are not trying to capture the party, you have saved it by taking it away." And you have removed those who claim to occupy the party to go back alone. What's the difference? '
Do it as soon as the problem is solved
UML chairperson Oli urged the leaders and cadres not to take the 10-point agreement as a hoax. Saying that Jeth 2 is not like tying a cat in shraddha, he said, "Do whatever you can to solve the problem." That's 10 points. '
He said that a task force was formed to prevent Madhav Nepal from splitting but rejected 10 points. However, he said that they have accepted the 10 points to strengthen the party by using it to solve the party's problems and bring in confused friends.
That's 10 points now. The 10 points are to solve the problem, not to create the problem. So what about 10 points? Do whatever it takes to solve the problem. That is 10 points. You say on May 22, where does the year 2075 from four years ago come from? As it is, it does not come back. After the registration of the CPN (Maoist) was cancelled, the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (M) did not separate at all, it is a legal matter. We had united the party on 3rd June 2075. That integration is still there. The Prachanda faction split and many of the comrades from the Maoist centre are still in the party. The current name of this party is CPN-UML. This is a continuation of yesterday's CPN (Maoist) and also a continuation of unity. I would like to urge my friends to move the work forward easily. Don't be stressed for any reason, don't walk with an uncomfortable mind. In some places, it is not like tying a cat in shraddha. This is to make the party dynamic and solve the problem if it arises. This is not an agreement with any party. We had a task force formed to prevent Madhav Nepal from splitting. It was built to prevent damage. Madhav Nepal refused. We have accepted to use it to solve the party's problems, to bring the confused and confused friends and to strengthen the party. I urge you not to understand this as a hoax.
This is against the constitution. Let's remove the government elected by the people, let's form a government from the court. Our own people also went to the Supreme Court saying that it is democratic. This kind of anarchy, indiscipline, anti-party activities took place from within our own party. It is a shame that such activities are being carried out by our own party. After all, that was not possible only from outside our party. By infiltrating our own party and using the green snakes within our own party, we were bitten. So today we are not in government, we are in opposition.
