1) Antikythera Mechanism









Created about 2000 years ago, the Antikythera Mechanism is considered one of the oldest computers in the world. Found within the ruins of a ship, it was long thought to be the only sight to behold, but recent discoveries have demonstrated that it may do much more. Originating from Greece, this ancient gadget had the power to predict when an eclipse would occur and could even organize a calendar into 4-year cycles.


2) Koso Artifact



The fact that you will find just one sparking plug is nothing special. But what happens when that sparking plug is actually embedded in hard rock, which dates back 500,000 years? The Coso artefact has disappeared and is not to be studied using modern technology. However when its origins are involved there are three conjectures: one, that it was created by a particularly intelligent ancient civilization such as Atlantis; Two, that it came from a long period and three, that it is of foreign origin.

The Bagong pipes on the top of the Baigong mountain lead directly to a pyramid. The interesting thing about these rusted pipes is that no signs of civilizations have ever been found within the region. This suggests that the reason they were created is unknown. Some scientists say that these are just stylized fish or insects.

This ancient gadget is made of clay, and it is still believed to date back to the second millennium. Like other ancient gadgets, its origin is unknown if it's meaning or intended purpose. The disc has been unearthed in Crete, and it bears a good array of symbols inscribed on it, many of which are identified as people, animals, tools, or plants. In July 1908, Italian archaeologist Luigi Pernier discovered a small disc of baked clay in a cellar cell, during excavations at the site of the Palace of Phaistos on the southern coast of Crete. Unlike any known writing system, there were 45 different symbols or picture signs on both sides of the disc – and ever since the enigmatic Phaistos disc has captured the imagination of archaeologists, linguists and other researchers, professional and amateur, but Haven't compromised.


8) Byzantine tablet



While we adore modern tablets for many things, the people of Byzantine culture believed in their ancient gadgets. These stones are unique ancient gadgets and many people have said that they belong to an ancient or foreign culture. They were discovered in a cemetery within the Himalayan mountains, and each of those stones is actually a one-foot-wide disc, with a handy hole within the centre. The interesting thing about it is that they are ancient; Scientists put them in existence as far back as 12,000 years ago.


Modern-day gadgets are extremely useful for us. And perhaps it was something similar for ancient cultures, relying on the gadgets presented above for each day life.
